We would love to have you be our guest anytime, but Sunday morning is probably the best time to see what we are about.
If you come at 9:00 a.m., there will be Bible classes for kids and adults. If you come for our worship service at 10:00 a.m., you can expect us to worship simply. We don’t do it perfectly, but we are trying our best to worship like the New Testament Christians did. So, we’ll sing some songs that you can see in the book or on the screen in the front of the auditorium. We’ll pray together and hear a message from the Bible. We’ll also participate in communion and take up a collection. Feel free to participate or not participate. We will never do anything to draw attention to you or embarrass you. We especially want you to know that we don’t expect guests to give any money during the offering.
The people you’ll see on Sunday morning will come from all walks of life. You’ll see t-shirts and jeans and dress shirts and ties. So come as you are and don’t feel like you have to get all dressed up for us. We believe God is most concerned with our hearts.
People tend to notice that we don’t have a guitar or a piano. Our singing is acapella, which means “without instrumental accompaniment.” Since the earliest Christians worshiped this way, and since the New Testament only tells us to worship with our voices, we choose to just sing. Although it might be different to you, we think you’ll find the singing to be beautiful and heart felt.
